Dry Gangrene

 

 

Dry gangrene through its development tends to follow the following symptomatic pattern:-

 

(a) The affected area becomes cold and numb;

(b) The affected area reddens;

(c) The affected area develops a brown discolouration; and

(d) Finally it becomes black and shrivelled.
